Open up your future

At Foster, our vision for your financial future is unlimited. Bank branches can only provide a narrow range of investment options. Foster gives you access to all the tools that the investment universe has to offer. Ask us to show you how a diversified portfolio can meet your goals, while working to protect your investments.

Get the benefit of expert advice

At Foster, we look at the bigger picture, starting with your financial plan. Based on your goals, we aim to maximize your potential growth by choosing the right investment vehicles and putting them in the right accounts (RESP, RRSP or TFSA), based on the potential tax consequences for each investment. Your plan can also include insurance and other estate planning tools.  Whatever you need, we will always use most cost-effective way to do it.

“I have always had confidence in Foster to help me successfully navigate the market’s ups and downs, and they haven’t let me down.”

Foster DNA

At 59, Briar Foster was a veteran portfolio manager and had been an executive at a number of Bay Street firms. Disillusioned with firms that put profits ahead of their client’s interests, he struck out on his own. His goal? To establish a truly independent investment dealer, with a laser focus on their clients’ best interests. More than 25 years later, Foster & Associates still follows that mantra, putting clients first.

Choose the right team

We believe that Foster is the perfect size – small enough for personal service, big enough to offer access to the full investment landscape. Need help? Our experienced team members are available by phone, ready to address your needs. With no middle management, our executive team keeps attuned to the things that really matter, by dealing directly with clients just like yourself every day.

You can count on Foster to be there for you.
